3. Pray
Praying isn’t always easy, but it’s something we can grow in. Even the disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray, and He did.
To develop a strong prayer life, start by reading the Bible and even start to memorize Scripture. Let God’s Word shape your prayers—pray the verses you read. The more Scripture you have in your mind and heart, the more it will naturally become the content of your prayers, building confidence, especially when praying out loud.
On a practical note, find someone whose prayer life you admire and ask if you can meet with them occasionally to learn and pray together. Praying together is powerful. That’s why, as a church, we gather weekly to pray with everyone in the church invited. Fill out the form below to ask for more information about this prayer time.
Surround yourself with people who pray—people who pray together, stay together.
